Abstract

Equity and gender representation are still a goal of equal social policies in companies in the European Union. The organs of governance of European public broadcasters notes that aspiration, despite the development of legal, general and specific, frameworks and selfregulation policies through its Corporate Social Responsibility statements. The presence of women in newsrooms is prevailed but not in the governance bodies. This research chooses the mirror of European public broadcasters to reflect the empirical reality of women in leadership positions.
