Abstract
We describe the case of a 71-year-old man who presented with a single painful soft tissue mass of the right thigh. Following imaging and subsequent excision, histological and immunohistochemical assessment of the tumour was performed, and the diagnosis of epithelioid haemangioendothelioma (EHE) was made. EHE is a rare translocation-related vascular sarcoma with variable clinical behaviour ranging from a low grade malignancy with ability to recur locally, to that of a high grade sarcoma, with propensity for systemic involvement.
