Abstract

The Osnytsk-Mikashevitsky volcano-plutonic belt may be considered as a representative of special intracraton type of volcano-plutonic belts of Early Precambrian in conditions of epiplatform rifting, which was the beginning of the basic restructuring of cratonic crust at the end of the early Proterozoic in central East-European platform. This is evidenced by duration of the belt formation, the inheritance of magmatism, the formation of structure and the variation of paleotectonic conditions from Early Proterozoic till Vend (Mesoproterozoic).
