Abstract
Literature indicates that the risk of Alopecia Areata (AA) among Atopic Dermatitis (AD) patients is higher than the general population. However, studies control for confounding variably and one study suggests bidirectionality between AA and AD. The present study evaluates the feasibility of studying AA among AD patients in administrative claims databases.
