Abstract
Advanced thymic carcinoma is a rare epithelial tumor of the thymus with a poor prognosis. Local advance is crucial in many patients due to the anatomical adjacent large vessels, bronchus, and heart. Thoracic radiotherapy is the main modality for the treatment of local progression. We analyzed the efficacy of radiotherapy to anti-mediastinal region in patients with advanced and recurrent thymic carcinoma.
