Abstract

Aiming at the Common Aero Vehicle (CAV) entry guidance problem under various trajectory constraints and terminal conditions, an on-board reference trajectory generation method was proposed, and then linear quadratic regulator (LQR) was designed to track the longitudinal reference trajectory. Lateral guidance was realized by using bank-reversal strategy with the aid of the azimuth error corridor. Finally, the entry trajectory was presented based on the above method.
