Abstract
This analysis aims to examine entropy generation in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of pseudoplastic Williamson nanofluid including gyrotactic motile microorganisms past over a stretching cylinder under the incidence of inclined magnetic field. Involvement of viscous dissipation, thermophoresis, Brownian motion, gravitation and stratification effects are also analyzed in this exploration. Physical happening are derived in the form of coupled partial differential equations system. Modeled system of equations are changed into simple ordinary differential equations (ODEs) via suitable transformation. The transformed system of coupled nonlinear ODEs are solved by using optimal homotopy analysis scheme in Mathematica 11.0. Tabular results are calculated and plotted graphically for the analysis of heat and mass fluxes also for the flux parameters for concentration of nanoparticles and gyrotactic microorganisms. Entropy generation number and Bejan number are calculated against temperature difference parameter and displayed in the form of contours. It is noted from the obtained results that the enhanced values of Williamson fluid parameter reduces both components of velocity for Newtonian as well as non-Newtonian case.
