Abstract

Julián Casanova Ruiz, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Zaragoza, is known among historians for his important investigative work and, in a special way, among the general public for his commendable effort to extract knowledge of the past from the redoubts academics to offer it —with a critical eye and a disseminating vocation— to press readers and radio and television audiences. With Professor Casanova, director of numerous doctoral theses and visitor to Latin American, American and British universities, as well as some other European ones, CLIOCANARIAS talks this time about the not at all easy task of history.
