Abstract

At present, traffic problems - especially congestion - have become a thorny issue in many major cities in China. Before that, the major cities of developed countries (including New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, and Seoul) experienced the most serious problems of traffic congestion in the 1940s, 1960s, 1970s and 1990s.
