Abstract

The study assessed the usability and user experience of a partially implemented web-based clearance system with 25 respondents. The system's UI design for staff accounts was mostly good and staff participants were efficient in completing tasks. Student participants reported higher satisfaction and involvement, while one staff participant felt irritated. In terms of user experience, student participants achieved an acceptable/good percentage rating, while staff participants scored below the acceptable range but still in the marginal range. The study recommends simplifying some UI and conducting an orientation to help users adopt the system more easily.
