Abstract

Abstract Engineering and technological innovation is the main instrument to influence people’s needs and culture in turn leads to society advancement. The Authority of India has recently taken strong steps to rejuvenate the higher education sector with a focus on quality and excellence. One of the significant aims of higher education is to provide the community with an opportunity to reflect on the critical, social, economic, cultural, moral and spiritual issues facing humanity. It contributes to national development through dissemination of specialized knowledge and skill. Due to rapid technological and cultural changes, traditional way of learning is no longer satisfactory. Thus disruptive technology takes place an important role in Engineering education through skill development. Country needs good trained Engineers to face the challenges of the century. Engineers must have an understanding of people with different backgrounds, different cultural values and must be able to interact with them effectively. As academician, teachers should transform engineering learning through disruption for continuous progress.
