Abstract

Apomorphine has been shown to increase, dose-dependently, the threshold for the vocalisation afterdischarge (VA), this effect of apomorphine being abolished by pimozide and potentiated by theophylline. A combined treatment with theophylline and L-Dopa elevated the VA threshold as well. The results also indicate that the pharmacological response after theophylline can be modulated by dopamine receptor interactions.
