Abstract
Abstract We investigate the optical properties of metallic nanofilm heated by the femtosecond laser pulse. Equations for fields and temperatures were solved to calculate the transmission coefficient. It is found that fast electron heating upon absorption of the pulse leads to an increase in the intensity of radiation passing through the metallic nanofilm.
