Abstract
We have studied the substitution of a 3d element, namely Mn, at theRu site of the metallic ferromagnet SrRuO3. We find that thesubstitution gives rise to short-range cluster formation whichcoexists with long-range ferromagnetism. The clusters show acharacteristic blocking at a temperature lower than Tc (theferromagnetic transition temperature). We find that themagnetoresistance of the sample with substitution is higher thanthat of the parent SrRuO3 and that the magnetoresistance peaksat the cluster freezing temperature.
