Abstract

Nowadays, solar energy plays a vital role in thermal power production and industrial processing. This study deals with hydrogen energy storage by increasing the heat transmission efficiency of PTSC (Parabolic Trough Solar Collector) in the existence of radiative heat, Lorentz force, and uneven heat source/sink. The Casson and Carreau fluids are the shear-thinning fluids with rheological differences. This study investigates the best heat transfer performer among these two (Carreau and Casson), which helps to enhance the heat transfer efficiency of PTSC. A mathematical model was established to investigate this and resolve it numerically using bvp5c Matlab platform. The study outcomes are deliberated with the assistance of pictorial and numerical evaluations. It is originated that the fluids with Casson rheological behavior are helpful in the effective heat transmission process of PTSC. Thermal radiation and internal heat source effectively boost the heat transmission rate of both liquids. In particular, Casson fluid.
