Abstract
We report the cross-coupling of aryl tosylates by Ni–NHC catalysis using bulky NHC ligands. A notable feature is the combination of ‘fluoride effect’ to minimize homocoupling and IPr*MeO that enhances the activity of Ni in cross-coupling.
