Abstract
The efficiency of singlet energy transfer to tetraphenylbutadiene has been measured as a function of acceptor concentration for polystyrene at 77 K and for a copolymer (74:26) styrene-methylacrylate at 77 K and room temperature. It has been shown that energy transfer from polymer and copolymer to this additive occurs from both excimer and isolated excited chromophore.
