Abstract
We have evaluated the excitation spectrum, structure factor, and phase velocity of two- and three-dimensional Bose fluids with a soft potential plus a Lennard-Jones type tail. For two dimensions, the excitation spectrum is similar to that for the bulk case, and the sound velocity, roton energy and momentum are found to be 164.4 m/s, 4.12 k and 1.02 Å -1, respectively. The three-dimensional phase velocity agrees well with the experimental dispersion curve.
