Abstract

There is tremendous increasing research works over the spectrum efficient in networks like LTE which are based on 802.22 standards. Along with spectrum efficiency from mobile service provider's perspectives, energy consumption saving is equally important and nothing but reduction in operating costs, and enhancing the spectrum efficiency is nothing but increasing the profit. Therefore, to improve the profitability, it is required that WANs (wireless access networks) should use the energy and spectral efficient design. The main of this paper is to present the design of novel hybrid approach is proposed with goal of improving the spectrum and energy efficiency LTE Advance Cellular Networks. We proposed novel optimal policies for spectrum allocation by designing the methods of cell size zooming, migration of user as well as in deployment of different types of base stations sleep mode. The spectrum and energy efficiency problem is calculated as the quasiconvex optimization method and then it is converted into MILP problem. By bisection method the quasiconvex optimization problem is solved and MILP problem solved by software tool. Finally, we contributed with third algorithm of improving the spectrum and energy efficiency in this paper. The simulation results claims that newly designed the spectrum efficient method outperforms the previous methods.
