Abstract

The article presents an energy approach to studying the effect of a DC electric field on the stability of the domain structure, piezo- and dielectric properties of piezoceramics (Pb0.95Sr0.05)(ZrхTi1-х)O3 (x = 0.45 ÷ 0.60). From the P-E dielectric hysteresis loops, the energy density of the sample W with polarization P in the electric field E is determined. The maximum (critical) value of the energy density Wkr determines the onset of irreversible rearrangement of the domain structure. This is associated with the process of depinning - the stripping of domain walls from the pinning centers in the critical field Ekr .
