Abstract
The mechanism of inelastic quasimicroplastic deformation revealed earlier in solids in the range of very low strains (e≈10−6) has been considered. The calculation of the energy density of the quasimicroplastic deformation shows that it proceeds by the mechanism of single structural relaxation events in the vicinity of point defects in the lattice.
