Abstract
Objective To summary the clinical characteristics and outcomes of the chronic sinusitis in children treated by internal endoscopic approach.Methods The data of forty-six cases of chronic sinusitis in children were analyzed by estimating before surgery, during the treatment and the follow-up after surgery.Results Forty-six patients with chronic sinusitis in children were treated with endoscopic surgery.The period of follow-up was 1-4 years.Thirty-four cases were cured, and the 10 cases were effective,only the other 2 cases recurred.Conclusion The endoscopic endonasal approach is an effective and salty treatment for the chronic sinusitis in children.
