Abstract

SUMMARY Thirty cases of endomyocardial fibroelastosis are presented. Since this represents a five year period, it is not a rare disease when sought. Over 50 per cent were associated with other congenital anomalies, and possible relationships are suggested. A survival to the age of 20 years is reported, and major clinicopathological features are discussed. Three cases which do not fit the anoxic concept of Johnson are presented.
