Abstract
Syndecan -1 (syn-1) is a cell surface proteoglycan known to participate in cell-matrix interaction and growth factor binding. Its presence has been described in various human tissues including endometrium and syncytiotrophoblast. The purpose of this investigation is to describe the expression of syn-1 in normal endometrium at various stages of the natural human menstrual cycle.
