Abstract
The fastest growing firms, have awakened an important interest in the scientific research, given its relevance to understand the trends of business growth. The aim of this work is the identification of the HF firms in the manufacturing industrial sector of Colombia and Spain, during the period of economic recovery 2012-2015. The objective is the explanation the main demographic and contextual characteristics of these companies and determining its profile, incorporating the most recent contributions of the economic literature. The main results show that age and location geographically are directly related to accelerated business growth.
