Abstract

The emission probability of the weak positron branch in the decay of 22Na to the ground state of 22Ne has been determined to be 0.0007 ± 0.0002. This value was obtained from an analysis of the transmission curve measured by a positron sensitive detection system with two BGO scintillation detectors.
