Abstract

Previously, it was experimentally shown that VUV radiation generated in a periodic structure of a multilayer X-ray mirror by relativistic electrons exhibits a quasi-monochromatic spectrum depending on the angle of inclination of the target and the direction of emission of radiation inside the radiation cone. Here, we present new experimental results regarding the properties of angular density of radiation. A comparison between the measured radiation intensity over a wide range of target inclination angles and theoretical calculations is provided.
