Abstract
An analysis of migration from Pakistan to the oil-producing countries of the Middle East is presented. The scale of this migration is first described, and its social and economic benefits and drawbacks are considered. Future trends are discussed, and the steps the government of Pakistan can take to maximize the benefits and minimize the drawbacks are reviewed.
