Abstract
The objectives are to: 1) discuss important gaps within the psychiatric crisis continuum of care that have contributed to the current pediatric psychiatry boarding crisis; 2) describe multiple innovations within hospital systems that have been promising in decreasing the boarding of patients; and 3) identify how collaborative use of community resources can further alleviate this crisis.
