Abstract

Purpose: Reconstruct the functional service modules for semi-disabled elders in communities, construct healthy food system for semi-disabled elders in communities and make most use of aging resources in communities with creative designing. Approach: With recording one-day living behaviors, non-participant observation and depth interviews, the healthy food activity of a semi-disabled elder in Cuisheng community in Shenyang City was deeply studied. Based on SAPAD theory frame, services were constructed from behavior, object, and meaning aspects, and behavior-meaning-object’s mapping relations were obtained [1]. Results: Core meaning clusters have been obtained with clustering analysis of meaning levels, designing chances on healthy food were put forwards, thereby constructing a healthy catering service system that meets the needs of the semi-disabled elder in the community. Conclusion: Make full use of the resources in the communities, meet the differentiated healthy pension needs for the aged, and offer new ideas for the home-cared service with a combination of medical care and pension for the elderly. Based on the SAPAD theory frame, this article studies the product service system of China’s medical-integrated community home-based care, and improves the product construction theory system under the semiotic path.
