Abstract

In this paper a handheld terminal device based on embedded Linux is developed, which has a friendly interface, enabling infrared data transmission, user information management, entertainment and other features. This paper briefly introduces the overall design of the handheld terminal in first, and then focuses on the introduction of embedded Linux graft configuration and compilation methods to the S3C2410, CRAMFS and NFS file system production methods, LED indicator and key drivers design, as well as serial devices, infrared devices and USB device driver calls.
