Abstract

The article presents an overview of the creative activity of Elizaveta Petrovna Kudryavtseva, the fi rst female conductor of a professional choir in Russia. The article presents the historical facts of the choral art formation in Leningrad / Saint Petersburg in the 20th century, the main stages of Kudryavtseva’s creative path, as well as the features of her activities as the creator and long-term leader of the Academic Choir of Singing Lovers.
