Abstract
The synodal themes and practices of the Church of Santiago, as systematized in four Archdiocesan documents produced between the years 2020-2022, are analyzed, delving into the ecclesiological aspects that these texts reveal. After coding, comparing, and categorizing the information they contain, the material is conceptually organized, following two interpretative tracks. The first one involves the process itself regarding good synodal ecclesiological practice consisting of continuities and discontinuities, enrichments, and novelties. In this way, the process is schematized to propose a good synodal practice. The second one implies revealing some ecclesiological shadows expressed in context forgotten, some lexical matters, scarce presence of the Bible, and absence of academic theologians.
