Abstract

Abstract Arenesulfenyl thiocyanates (Ar–S–SCN) reacted with sulfonium ylides (MeR\overset⊕S–\overset\ominusC(COOMe)2) in chloroform at room temperature, forming sulfonium ion, MeRS⊕–C(SAr)(COOMe)2 SCN\ominus, which further reacted. The mechanism of this reaction was discussed.
