Abstract

Three adult native speakers of Thai participated in EPG treatment designed to teach contrasts between English /s/-/∫/, /t/θ/, and /l/-/i/. The success of the Thai subjects in changing or modifying consonant articulation supports the use of EPG feedback in reduction of foreign accent.
