Abstract

One of the most common methods for constructing high-precision measuring devices are methods based on the use of the invariance principle. The essence of the principle is that the use of several channels (multichannel) of receiving and converting signals by summing them leads to interference compensation. In this case, the signal’s informational features are not subject to change. The principle of invariance to random noise arising in the signal receiving path is implemented in the class of systems with such interference characteristics, for which only minimal information about the signal and noise characteristics is sufficient. In some cases, such information is not needed at all. Such an approach to constructing a signal reception and signal conversion path can be called the principle of adaptive invariance. An example of the implementation of the invariance principle is the class of information measuring instruments with an optical path for extracting information called automatic industrial refractometers. The principle of operation of these devices, based on the effect of total internal reflection [6]. These information measuring complexes are used to measure the concentration of solutions of binary mixtures at food and chemical enterprises, transport infrastructure enterprises and other industries.
