Abstract

Most modern highly serviced buildings use electronics in a number of applications, often in the control and monitoring of mechanical services plant, internal communication and, more recently, in the automatic balancing of artificial light with daylight. In addition to special applications of these functions, the National Theatre uses electronics in specially developed stage lighting, sound and stage engineering installations to provide the theatre technician and scene designer with the benefits of simple operations, memory, information display and servocontrol
