Abstract
E.s.r. evidence is reported for the substitutional doping of manganous ion into lithium fluoride in an orthorhombic crystalline site, and into sodium fluoride in an axial crystalline site. 19F superhyperfine structures in the e.s.r spectra were consistent with a small covalent contribution to the bonding of MnF64– ions.
