Abstract
Time domain (pulsed) electron paramagnetic resonance (TD EPR) is well suited for studying nonequilibrium properties of electron spin systems. Also the determination of hyperfine interactions in solids is well feasible with this method. In this paper some aspects of TD EPR instrumentation and theory will be discussed. Moreover some examples of applications of the method will be given.
