Abstract

We evaluate the effective dynamic (frequency dependent) electron-ion collision frequency in strongly coupled two-component plasmas. Calculations are based on the perturbation theory for the force-force correlation function. Electron local field corrections are treated by using the generalized hydrodynamic model. We suggest an approach to the dynamic effects which takes into account the non-Born strong scattering contribution to thecollision frequency. Reflectivity and bremsstrahlung calculated on the basis of our theory are in agreement with available experimental data.
