Abstract
A review on crystal structure determination of high temperature superconductors using electron diffraction or the combination of electron diffraction and high resolution electron microscopy is given. The two-stage image processing technique and the multi-dimensional direct method are employed. Four examples including the determination of commensurate and incommensurate modulated structures are reported.
