Abstract

AbstractThe generalization of the theory of plane waves in a semiconductor electron plasma located in an external magnetic field, H  H0  H1 cos pt, whose variable component is parallel to the stationary one, is given for the case of relatively low electron density in the conductivity band and for a sample inhomogeneous in the direction of the magnetic field, the waves propagating along this direction. Also the problem of the transformation of a monochromatic incident wave with a frequency co to components with new frequencies ω + np (n = ±1, ±2, …) for the wave reflected from the sample boundary and transmitted into the sample is considered. Several effects which are due to the simultaneous influence of the periodic non‐stationarity and a periodic in‐homogeneity of the medium are noted.
