Abstract
The large-scale utilization of clean energy represented by photovoltaic(PV) is an inevitable trend of future energy development. To analyze the impact of grid-connected PV on transient characteristics of power grid, this paper first establishes the electromagnetic transient simulation model of PV system. Then the electromagnetic and electromechanical transient hybrid simulation model of grid-connected PV system is established on Matlab/Simulink and PSCAD platform. The key problems of hybrid simulation such as equivalence of electromagnetic side and electromechanical side, interface processing and simulation timing are described. Finally, the correctness of the hybrid simulation algorithm is verified in a simple two-machine system. The algorithm proposed in this paper can be extended to other types of distributed generations, which provides a theoretical basis and platform for the simulation of multi-type distributed generations access to the grid.
