Abstract

The article discusses a new technology of electrolyte-plasma polishing (EPP) of turbomachine parts with the imposition of an external magnetic field, which improves the quality of the surface layer. The results of experimental studies of the effect of electrolytic-plasma polishing of blades made of titanium alloy VT6 with the imposition of an external magnetic field are presented, indicating the prospects of using the proposed EPP method for processing parts of complex configuration, as well as the possibility of increasing the stability of the EPP process with the introduction of a magnetic field as an additional technological factor.
