Abstract
Static electroelastic behavior of a doubly curved shell composed of copper core reinforced with graphene origami auxetic metamaterial are studied in the present paper. The shell is subjected to uniform mechanical, electrical and thermal loads. To evaluate effective material properties, the micromechanical models are extended in terms of both material properties of matrix and reinforcement with changes of temperature, volume fraction, folding degree and geometric parameters of graphene nanoplatelets. After extension of energy method using piezoelasticity relations, the governing equations are analytically solved and the then the analytical solution is derived to explore importance of foldability and multifield loading on the responses. After that the comprehensive results are obtained with changes of thermal loading, graphene amount, folding degree, geometric characteristics and foundation’s parameter.
