Abstract

The solvate has been used to investigate discharge limiting factors of lithium/sulfuryl chloride cells. solvate to ratio was varied over a wide range of current densities in order to simulate composition changes occurring during the discharge of actual liquid cathode cells. The effect of varying the concentrations in solvate and the electrode material on chronopotentiometric curves and diffusion processes are discussed.
