Abstract
Abstract ELECTRITE No. 1 is a standard 18.4-1 type high-speed steel having high density, extremely good wear resisting properties. It possesses a high red hardness when used for cutting and shearing tools. It corresponds to AISI Type T1 Tool Steel. This same type steel is also supplied containing sulphide additive and is called Electrite No. 1 XL. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength as well as fracture toughness.
