Abstract

The resistivity of a series of Y9Co7 compounds containing transition metal Lu, Gd, Ni, Zr, Ti has been measured from 4 to 300K. The results are discussed in terms of parallel resistor model, s-d scattering and diffraction model. Also, we report the evidence of spin-fluctuation effect in the resistivity of these compounds (ex. Gd substituted Y9Co7 and the data may be scaled into a universal curve proposed by Kaiser and Doniach.
