Abstract
In this study, semi-conductive composites with different contents of the perovskite type ionic conductor Li0.5La0.5TiO3 (LLTO) were synthesized to weaken the positive temperature coefficient (PTC) effect of the semi-conductive composites and inhibit the injection of space charge into the insulation layer. The electrical performance of the composites were evaluated. The results show that the composite with 4 wt% of LLTO effectively weakened the PTC effect and significantly inhibited the space charge injection. The effects of different doping amounts of LLTO on the space charge inhibition and PTC effect reduction of the semi-conducting shielding layer and their interaction mechanisms were studied in detail. The weakening of the PTC effect caused by LLTO may be related to the reconstruction of the carbon black conductive network, while the inhibition of the space charge injection may be due to the Coulomb force exerted by LLTO on the electrons.
