Abstract

Results of electric permittivity measurement for PbFe 1/2 Nb 1/2 O 3 (PFN) single crystal and for both undoped and doped with lithium ceramic samples of PFN are presented. Marked influence of the type of electrical conductance on values and on the shape of the dependence of permittivity versus temperature. The dielectric dispersion, within acoustic range of the measuring electric field frequency has been observed. Moreover, giant values of permittivity, associated with the properties of metal--semiconductor contacts have been found.
